Recycling

Our rubbish pickup is provided by Waste Management. Here's what their brochure has to say about what is and isn't recyclable:

CANS
aluminum cans
tin, steel, bimetal cans
lids from jars

PAPER
Newspaper
Cardboard
Junk mail and other paper products (anything that tears)
Paperbacks and phone books
frozen food packages
Magazines
Cartonboard such as cereal boxes and shoeboxes
Paper grocery bags

DO NOT INCLUDE:
No food contaminated paper
No hardcover books
No photos
No tissue paper, hand towels, or toilet paper

PLASTICS
All containers
Recycle codes 1 through 7
DO NOT INCLUDE:
no plastic bags
No styrofoam

GLASS
Food Containers
Beverage Containers
DO NOT INCLUDE:
No window glass or mirrors
No Ceramics
No light bulbs

*IMPORTANT*
Empty containers only
Rinse all food and beverage containers
Flatten or cut cardboard boxes

No hazardous materials including automotive fluids, garden
chemicals, paint products, cleaners or fluorescent lamps

Trash

Please refrain from putting the following items into the trash container. If you have any questions please don’t hesitant to call us at the office and we will be able to assist you. These are state regulated waste ban items and more information can also be found on the state’s website at http://www.mass.gov/dep/recycle/solid/wastebans.htm We provide bulk service for disposal of the products below for our customers on a case by case basis.

Please put all recyclable materials into our Single Stream Recycling Container.

Waste Ban items include:
 Televisions & Computer Monitors
 Mattresses & Box Springs
 White Goods (Large Appliances)
 Anything containing Freon: Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, Water Bottle Coolers & Freezers
 Tires & Car Batteries
 Motor Oil & Liquid Paints
 Propane Tanks
 Asbestos & Hazardous Waste Items
 Construction & Demolition Debris
